Protea Prime Brings Forgotten Tech Back To The Warframe Universe, And Things Get A Little Wibbly-Wobbly, Timey-Wimey
The new Prime Warframe arrives May 1.
Soon, Warframe players will have a chance to get their hands on the game’s next Prime form. On May 1, Protea Prime Access will be available on all platforms, bringing with it technology from a long-forgotten society – and time manipulation.
Protea made use of her powers as the bodyguard of Parvos Granum, the Founder of the Corpus faction. With the power to manipulate time, she’s able to execute her mission in ways that no one else can. She uses “borrowed time” to execute both attack and defense maneuvers, but time isn’t all she has going for her. This Warframe uses grenade clusters, fire plasma charges, and more. She is just more able to ensure the best results with the ability to rewind time.
A first look at Protea Prime and what she brings to the game is available on the Waframe site. Players will also be able to find out more about her as well as news about TennoCon and Warframe: 1999 by watching Devstream 179 on April 26 at 2:00 pm Eastern.
