Riot Games will have a new leader.
The company has appointed A. Dylan Jadeja as its new CEO, replacing Nicolo Laurent — who held the position for six years and will now transition to an advisory role. This announcement revealed Jadeja should be fully transitioned into the role by the end of the year.
He joined Riot Games in 2011 as the chief financial officer, and then went on to serve as the president of global corporate strategy. Prior to his tenure at Riot Games, Jadeja was the vice president at Goldman Sachs for seven years.
“As CEO, it is fair to assume that I may do some things differently than those before me, but I want to assure you that the goal for us — together — will not waver,” he said. “And that is to make Riot, unequivocally, the most trusted and authentic game company in the world… built by players, for players.”
