Rocket League Knockout Event Throw teamwork and comradery aside for this limited-time event. There are no teams, just 8 players and one winner in this free-for-all Knockout Bash battle royale styled event. From April 27 to May 10, join in on the destructive derby where only the strong and skilled will survive. Players can enjoy three new Arenas built just for battling and will need to master a new skill set of, Attack, Block, and Grab to be the last car driving.

In this battle royale styled event, players will have to knock their opponents out of the Safezone or into Hazards. The last car still driving, wins. Seems simple enough, however, unlike the base game of Rocket League, lives are not unlimited and after players have been KO’d 3 times, it’s game over. Outside of the core gameplay of Attack, Block, and Grab, there are also secondary mechanics that have been introduced. To name a few, there will be Stun, Enemy Lock-Out, Triple Jump, Boost, and more.

While this new event will be no easy task, the rewards are well worth it. Through this event, players can unlock Spring-themed Items like Florescence Wheels, Monarch Boost, or the animated Flutterby Decal. On top of those rewards, players can also earn Golden Gift Baskets that unlock a mix of classic Items from the Victory, Accelerator, and Turbo Item Series. Complete the Challenge up to five times to earn Golden Gift Baskets, then open them in your inventory to unlock items.
