Warframe Donating Proceeds From TennoCon Ticket Sales To Charity
Warframe developer Digital Extremes announced this weekend that all proceeds from TennoCon 2016 will be donated to charity. The company will be donating to Outward Bound Canada, an organization that provides support to at-risk youth, domestic violence survivors, and veterans.
Meridith Braun, Vice President of Publishing, noted that while the company felt it was ideal to charge admission to be sure fans were committed to attending the event, they wanted to do something more with it.
"When plans of TennoCon first started taking shape, the goal was to get as many Tenno together to celebrate Warframe as we could. While it made sense to charge admission to commit players to attending, it made even more sense to have those proceeds go toward helping others. This follows a philosophy we reinforce with our Tenno -- contribute in making a meaningful difference in the world as both players and citizens in a global community -- be honorable Tenno."
Those wishing to attend TennoCon can find more information on the event on the official site.
