Steel Legions is a free to play 3D strategy browser game from Splitscreen Studios, where four factions struggle for domination. It combines great 3D visuals with accessible, fast-paced PvP (player-versus-player) action.
You take control over a mechanical, steam-driven combat vehicle in an alternative history, where four factions struggle for land, resources and power. With your comrades, you take on action-paced missions against other players and their factions. Collect gear and upgrade your vehicle and become a legend on the battleground.
The combination of fast-paced player-versus-player action and long-term enhancements of your vehicle makes this game a fresh appeal for both experienced and new players. Constantly changing challenges won’t let you rest.
In Steel Legions, four mighty empires fight for control over resources that are growing ever scarcer – steel, steam, and oil play a crucial role in the battle for victory. Along with new chassis, drive modules, armour, and a variety of weapons, additional components can now be used to expand the heavy-weight war colossi, each of which is controlled by half a dozen brave men and women, into even deadlier machines. In addition, more mission types are now available, offering more opportunities in the merciless battles against rival empires. Tactical weapons can now also be used to alter the landscape briefly in order to secure a crucial advantage for recruits in battles in rough terrain.

Quite a fun game, though it is somewhat repetitive. You choose one of the four factions available in the game, and then do missions to level up. Leveling up allows you to upgrade your default tank and make it more powerful. If you want to change your appearance, you will have to spend gold coins, which are the premium currency. However, gold can be earned for free in multiple ways. You also need to have different things to make your tank work more efficiently, and to upgrade it.
Overall, a nice game. Oh, and did I mention the graphics are quite nice for an online game?
