Gala Networks Europe announced that pre-registrations for its upcoming AAA martial arts MMORPG, Age of Wulin – Legend of the Nine Scrolls has opened. Players that sign up to the waiting list for access to Age Of Wulin’s closed beta program will also be in line to win special merchandise to commemorate the event.

Age of Wulin – Legend of the Nine Scrolls is a martial arts MMORPG set in ancient China, and is the third game published by Gala Networks Europe in partnership with the acclaimed Chinese developer Snail Game. The two companies have previously collaborated on two titles for the gPotato.eu portal, Castle of Heroes and Terra Militaris. Age of Wulin – Legend of the Nine Scrolls will launch on the gpotato.eu portal in 2012 in English, German and French.

By pre-registering for Age of Wulin, users will automatically take part in the Closed Beta lottery to get a chance to win one of the eagerly awaited keys for the European CBT, which is set to take place in 2012. Furthermore, users that register before the 1st October 2011 will also get the chance to win one of five exclusive Age of Wulin t-shirts.

Age of Wulin will include everything that players expect from a high quality MMORPG, such as extensive PvE and PvP content, crafting and professions, group battles, challenges to solve conflicts, a guild housing system and much more. Age of Wulin covers a huge world with more than 130 km², 8 different schools of combat, 17 life professions, more than 1,000 skills to customise the player’s strength, more than 20,000 quests and up to 20,000 NPCs.

Players are invited to sign up at www.ageofwulin.com to register their interest.

You can download the chinese version, but it’s gonna take a while before the EU version is available to play on. I suggest using google to find more info on the subject.

Game looks great, the features sound good and I’ll definitely try it….but really…there’s just too many china themed mmorpgs around people can’t help but get tired of it, hope the publishers notice that.

This had me at walking on water and gliding through the air. O_o
And I am not expecting much for the ‘skill based progression’, as I have yet to see one do it properly or so it’s fun enough… for my tastes anyway. *shrugs* I’ll keep an eye on it…
