Palworld Drops Early Access Trailer (And New Access Date Window) At Summer Game Fest
A new date has been provided as well.
No matter how much Palworld may remind us of Pokemon, it seems like Nintendo and the Pokemon Company aren’t all that bothered by it. If they were, it would seem unlikely that Pocketpair would be dropping a new trailer at Summer Game Fest today. But they did. And it has pretty much everything you’d expect after having seen previous trailers for the game.
It also has something you probably wouldn’t have expected, a new Early Access launch window. No, you won’t be getting your hands on the game this year. Rather, it will launch on Steam Early Access sometime in January 2024.
That might be a disappointment to those of you who were looking forward to running your own gunbunckle sweatshops, but Pocketpair assures players the decision was made so they could “deliver the best experience possible, combining survival, crafting, monster catching and breeding into one exciting game in the best possible condition”. Effectively, the game needs more time to cook. Still, time passes quickly, so unless early access is rescheduled again, you’ll be playing before you know it.
