Landscapes And Boss Monsters Take Center Stage For Black Desert Land Of The Morning Light At Summer Game Fest
Take on the giant serpent boss Imoogi.
During Summer Game Fest today we got a shiny new trailer for Black Desert Online's upcoming expansion Land of the Morning Light. In it, they debut the serpentine boss, Imoogi.
Imoogi means "giant snake" according to the press release, and the boss monster will be coming to the MMORPG sometime after the expansion launch. Korean legend says that Imoogi strives to become a full-fledged dragon.
Imoogi is just one of many Korean mythology creatures that will be featured in Black Desert Online Land of the Morning Light. The tiger lord Sangoon, the Golden Pig King (that just sounds epic), and the vengeful ghost Songakshi will also be among the many enemies you will face in the expansion.
Black Desert Online is also introducing Boss Blitz in Land of the Morning Light. After defeating a boss monster for the first time you can jump into customized difficulty-level boss fights to climb leaderboards. Each boss will have distinct mechanics and strategies to conquer that ramp up in difficulty with each level. Leaderboards will be organized by class and reset weekly.
