Star Trek Online Adds Two New Patrols – With Optional Hard Mode
The new modes arrive as part of the Unraveled update.
With the launch of Unraveled, Star Trek Online players on PC will have access to two new Patrols: Bringer of War and Jupiter Gauntlet. These new patrols feature random enemies in both normal and hard modes. The normal mode features the Mokai Klingon, Hur’q, Elachi, Fek’lhri, Borg, Breen, and Tholian. Hard mode pits players against Vaadwaur, Voth, Iconia, Na’kuhl, Tzenkethi, and Undine.
The Jupiter Gauntlet, is just that… a gauntlet. Players will defend Jupiter Station against waves of enemies. There are three points to defend, so it will take more than just staying in one place and surviving.
Bringer of War, on the other hand, is a battle over Mars. Players need to save as many people on the surface of the planet as possible while dodging the enemy.
Players will be able to access the Jupiter Gauntlet and Bringer of War Patrols in the MMORPG on May 9. Both are part of the Looming Threats event.
