Star Trek Online Announces Changes To Loadouts
Loadouts, and dealing with them, in Star Trek Online can be a bit of a beast, particularly if you play the game with any skill and try to match your builds to whatever task you're taking on. Thankfully, things are about to change. Earlier this week, the dev team revealed plans to rework the game's loadout system -- first on PC, then later on consoles.
The new system will make Space Traits part of a Loadout that can be saved and ready to go when players need it. In addition, they've also divided Active Reputation Traits into two groups, Ground and Space. This means that players will be better able to prepare for the type of mission they're taking on. Loadouts will also remember whether visuals for ship equipment are enabled or not. So, if there's a visual that just annoys you, you never have to worry about it showing up when you switch things around.
