Warframe Whispers in the Walls

Digital Extremes finally announced the release date for Warframe's update “Whispers in the Walls” during the Game Awards.

This shooter's cinematic quest is set to launch on December 13 for all platforms, accompanied by a gradual rollout of the much-requested Cross Platform Save feature, expected to be complete by the end of the year. The new storyline is filled with fresh faces, darker mysteries, and the return of familiar voices — including actors Neil Newbon and Ben Starr. (Also, the latter will return in Warframe 1999).

The Whispers in the Walls update introduces players to the enigmatic antagonist, The Man in the Wall, unraveling the mysteries surrounding Albrecht Entrati's secret lab and the clash between this strange adversary and Entrati. Players will face a new formidable enemy faction called The Murmur and discover a unique weapon type: Entrati’s cursed Grimoire tome, which holds deadly Void powers and unveils Entrati's personal history and master plan.

Other features include a new ally Syndicate, the 55th Warframe Qorvex, and a post-launch update featuring a new Clan Operation: Gargoyle’s Cry.

“We wouldn’t be on stage without the steadfast support of our community and developers these past 10 years," Creative Director Rebecca Ford said, "Our community has been through it all with us, and there are no words that can describe our utmost gratitude."
