Warframe's The Sacrifice Is Now Live, Brings New Story, New Warframe, And New UI
Following a its detailed reveal earlier this week, Digital Extremes has released The Sacrifice, the latest update for Warframe, which leads players "on the hunt for a savage new Warframe." It's available now on PC, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions coming in the summer.
That new Warframe is the Umbra, and it not only exists in the game but also in the real world, in the form of a cosplay outfit and giant street mural in Downtown Los Angeles, both created by DE partner Impact Props (videos below). You can find it in the game by completing the Sacrifice story line, which itself requires the completion of The Second Dream, The War Within, Chains of Harrown and the Apostasy Prologue. Time to catch up!
The Sacrifice also brings a brand new UI to Warframe, along with new customization options. And if you're a Twitch Prime subscriber, be sure to pick up your freebies, which DE is offering all year round to Prime subscribers, by linking your Twitch and Warframe accounts.
