How to get and use your Key:

4. Visit WEBZEN to download the game client and install C9.
5. Choose a server and create a new character.

  2. the game is dead because they have separated asian players in us and created sea server,,so fail ,, the game wont work if there no pure farmer and grinder players

    • I have the same problem, please someone have a solution! (:
      I tried the code in 2 different characters in 2 different servers and its the same problem in both.

  11. So just to be clear, I don’t think you need this code to get free level 50 char. Anyone who has signed up for C9 can just hop onto their character level up to 20 and then be part of the event. After the event is over, then you will receive a level 50 character. The giveaway just gives you items to make leveling to 20 easier.

    • Cept the difference is Tera is actually a good game and they executed the idea properly. That being they didn’t just hand out some codes.

      Most people who benefited from the event were vets with several level 70’s who just didn’t feel like going through the content again. Tera is an epic journey to level 70 but like any other game in existence, it gets old. Sometimes you just wanna press the skip button. Even though realistically it takes a week of semi-casual playing to get to 70. Super easy with a friend too.

      C9 however is just doing it to entice people because the game is a massive grind, like most F2Ps. It’s too cash shop heavy and that’ll be the death of it. This is just a desperate attempt to get a bunch of people at endgame so they can buy tons and tons of cash crap to become endgame competent. It wont work. The game will be dead soon.

  26. Dont play this game,its fun in the begining but once ure higher level ure gonna notice the following: You cant have fun in pvp because of lag+op items,so PVP is out of the question.
    The game has no real good economy for a free user.To farm dungeons which give good items,u need to have very good gear+cash shop items+skill books,and you can have that by paying real money.
    Farming regular dungeons is boring and doesnt guarantee good items which come from a rare mob with some % of appearing in dungeon.
    I played this game alot ,reached max lvl,unique gear,full items,tons of cash shop items,had multiple end game characters accounts all equiped with unique/master gear.THIS GAME IS NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE,WEBZEN fked it up,the devs left to make Black Desert and I cant wait to try that game!!!

    • The devs of C9 are the ones working on Black Desert? I’m extremely impressed by it so far and would be even more if this is true.

      I also played C9 but unfortunately it gets a bit boring/grindfest after Lv35 or so. However I was extremely impressed by their combat system, best I’ve ever played in a MMORPG.

      • Yes they are,and they left C9 a very very long time ago and the decline of C9 started.Lagzen fked the poor game,this game is going to die soon.

    It seemed cool and I started playing…Now Im level 18 after 2 hours of playing haha

  30. LOL this is classic. This same publisher did this with it’s other titles before shutting them down. It is the last chance to get players in and pay. Otherwise, alert alert! The games health is sick. This is what happens when you create games on a grind or greed core. Desperation, and death. F these games.

  31. well i think when these events comes mean the game is diyng , i play c9 very casual like 1 time every year lol , but i came back to play last week and US and EU servers are dead
    btw enjoy 4848 lvl 50 characters left XD
