A Deeper Look At The Elder Scrolls Online’s New Arcanist Class
This new class will join ESO once the new chapter, Necrom, launches this June.
The latest expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online, Necrom, is almost here and introduces the new Arcanist class. In the official Arcanist Class overview Trailer during IGN’s Fan Fest 2023, ESO’s Combat Lead Brian Wheeler explains all that is needed to know about Necrom’s release on June 5 for PC and Mac players and June 20 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
To start, the new Arcanist class is made to be the most versatile class yet, allowing anyone’s playstyle to fit perfectly with the class. Players can master three new skill lines to help deal damage, support allies, or even absorb punishment. Additionally, in the video found below, a brand new ability for the Arcanist class was revealed called Fate Carver. This ability produces a giant laser that will deal damage to anyone caught within the beam. Wheeler suggests players crowd control their enemies in order to get the most out of this powerful ability.
