Conqueror's Blade Launches Into Open Beta
Booming Games and My.com's Conqueror's Blade is now in open beta, letting anyone access all the medieval mayhem for free. The game simulates not only battles, from simple skirmishes to massive castle sieges, but also has a wide open world and robust, player-driven economy, and you can also engage in diplomacy and form and join houses, the game's equivalent of guilds.
All of that made me consider it a kind of "medieval Eve Online," complete with the possibility of getting ganked in the wild and losing at least some of your hard-earned loot. The trailer below lays out pretty much everything there is to find in the game, as well as teasing the prospect of naval battles in the future, so if the notion of claiming your destiny in a vast, medieval world appeals to you, check out the game now on its website or download it via the My.com launcher.
