Female Paladins Are Coming To Tarisland As Gender Unlocking Progress Continues
Apparently, it’s a heck of a process.
If the gender locked classes in Tarisland have been bothering you, Level Infinite is working on it. In fact, a female paladin is on the way. The developer teased some of the MMORPG's progress on unlocking the gender in the class today via Twitter with an image that shows her planned appearance and explains why players weren’t allowed to choose genders during the last closed beta test.
According to the explanation, “the large differences in character builds” result in “numerous actions, skills, talents”, and more in the game that creates “a total number of character movements number in the thousands”. The translation is that designing classes with more than one gender takes more effort. While they’re doing it, players are probably going to have to wait a while to see it on all classes.

In addition to teasing the new female paladin, the developer also shared a blog post over the weekend detailing the creation of the world of Tarisland – lore-wise, not development-wise. Yes, it all began with a big bang. The post also explains what the Eternity Conflict is and its effect on the world. The post can be found on the Tarisland site for you lore buffs.
