Post Gamigo Split, Fractured Online Announces Limited-Time Relaunch Pre-Test
The test is open to all backers.
Fractured Online is on its way back, believe it or not given the MMORPG's checkered past and spilt from gamigo. But first, a test period.
On June 22 at 4:00 pm CEST, Dynamight Studios will be welcoming everyone who owns a Founder's Pack to test out the game. Those who purchased the game on Steam or Glyph are invited – provided they complete the data transfer.
The purpose of the test is to get feedback on new features added to the game since players were last able to access it. This includes a character progression revamp and a crafting revamp. A journey system has been introduced as has an ability level-up. The continent of Myr has been removed – apparently because it was “visually unappealing, repetitive, hard to cross” and other things.
Once the test is done and they’ve reviewed everything – and it’s all good – the game will be back. No more wipes will take place after that point. If you’re wondering about Steam… they’re not certain about that yet.
