Temtem’s Season 5 — “Endless Night” — is imminent, as is Patch 1.5.

With the release on September 25, Crema is introducing several features and changes to the game. The update adds the third and final Mythical Temtem, featuring a new route in a brand-new area. This Temtem's Traits revolve around the Doom status condition.

A new Challenge Mode called "Randomized Mode" is coming too, offering a unique twist by randomizing Traits, Techniques, Temtem, and items. This mode eliminates the Nuzlocke rules, providing a different gameplay experience. Additionally, improvements are coming to Lairs, allowing players to form parties of 1, 2, or 3 players and introducing a trading node within Lairs.

The FreeTem! feature will see changes as well, moving away from tiered rewards to requesting the release of Tems from specific species. Completing these groups will reward players with Feathers and Pansuns. Also, the Luma Drops store will receive new stock and a long-awaited dye preview feature.

Lastly, the game will introduce Casual difficulty for Dojo Rematches, offering new players a less challenging experience. Players can choose between Casual and Disciple difficulty when facing Dojo Leaders. Future changes include the ability for players to choose their active Tamer Pass and access past Tamer Passes, addressing FOMO issues. The Premium rotational content will also be made available again one year after its initial appearance.
