It's Like Rust Or DayZ, Only You're A Duck. No, That's Not A Typo And Yes, DUCKSIDE Open Beta Is Up
Early access will start on September 25th.
That may be one of the most bizarre headlines I have ever composed in my 15+ years of covering games, but it's literally true. DUCKSIDE is a PvE/PvP/survival game very much in the spirit of games like DayZ and yes, you are in fact a duck. Not only that, you're also wearing hats.
DUCKSIDE is developed by tinyBuild Riga and published by tinyBuild, the publisher of Hello Neighbor.
If you don't believe me, as many didn't when the game was originally announced since it was announced on April Fools' Day, then seriously, go hop into open beta. The final test kicked off today and will run until the 17th, then it is off to early access on September 25th.
I mean, I could say more and explain more details, but it's exactly what you think. You're a duck and you can work together or alone to gather up materials and craft your way to survival in multiple biomes, and yes, your feathered friend can sport weapons to take out other fowl along the way. See? Exactly what you thought. Here's a video below if you still aren't sure about hitting up the beta.
