MONGIL: Star Dive Console Version Revealed At TGS 2025
A PS5 version is on the way.
Yesterday, at the Tokyo Game Show, Netmarble announced a PlayStation 5 client for the action RPG MONGIL: Star Dive. The critter collecting game was already slated to launch on PC and mobile devices, and now console players – well, PS5 players, anyway – can get in on the action.
Netmarble didn’t reveal an official launch date for the console version, but they did offer some details as to what went into it, emphasizing the optimization needed to “deliver a seamless console experience in addition to PC and mobile platforms”.
For those wondering, the PS5 version does include full DualSense wireless controller support – which should more or less be the standard these days. The PS5 version also features a console-specific HUD and UI, which means players won’t have to work with the mobile version. A statement from Netmarble’s Game Publishing Director, Jun Ho Lee, notes that the company’s “goal is to provide players with diverse and optimized experiences across all platforms”.
