Naraka: Bladepoint Kicks Off "Autumn Chill" Halloween Event, New Showdown, And More This Week
Gather candy by looting troves or smacking around your enemies tomorrow for rewards.
Naraka: Bladepoint joins the barrage of multiplayer titles kicking off Halloween festivities in-game before the big day rolls around. The catch is that Naraka's Halloween events start at different times of the week.
Tomorrow, the "Autumn Chill" event will be available in the battle royale game until November 10, tasking players with looting troves during battle and beating opponents to gain candy. Each player can obtain up to five candies in every match but will cap at eight per day. Something to keep in mind, though, is that the event has two timed rounds: The first from October 25 - November 2 and the second from November 2 - November 10. Players can obtain different event rewards depending on the current round with their candies.
Next, the "Shadow of Dust" limited-time event begins October 27 and lasts till November 21. By completing the event quests for "Dust Emblem," players can use the item to earn exclusive event rewards. In addition, finishing any mode of Showdown allows fans to rack up individual and whole-server points to claim prizes and unlock "Doom Mode." Participating in the Doom Mode may land players a Legendary weapon skin called "Flaming Ash-Burning" for the trouble.
Lastly, on October 28, 24 Entertainment will implement a new episode of Showdown for a limited-time on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It will be in Shadowjade Mine, where an eerie wind of sand and dust hides the figures of the Eagle and Grey Wolf. Players will gather to confront the Herald's Boss, Omnius, along with his servants appearing for the first time. Also, new heroes Matari and Temulch join the Showdown, Omens will appear randomly in Hard and Nightscream levels, and more.
