New Battle Royale Dead Cide Club Enters Open Beta
Fight other players for supremacy while defending yourself against hoards of monsters.
Today Devsisters, developers of the mobile game Cookie Run: Kingdom, announced the first open beta event for their upcoming 24-player, 2D side-scroll battle royale game Dead Cide Club. The game, first introduced earlier this month at Devsisters DevNow digital showcase, is built around seven different cartels fighting for coin and glory.
There are three available modes in Dead Cide Club, Solo, Squad, and Beholder. Solo and Squad are pretty much what they sound like. Beholder, however, is something different. In Beholder mode, one player hosts an event with their own rules and prizes. They can watch the battles in real-time and even interfere, changing rules by manipulating weapons, monsters, and the environment.
If this sounds like your kind of thing and you’d like to check it out, the open beta is underway as of today. It will only last for four days – running from April 22 to April 26. However, signups are still available on the site, so if you’re not already invited, there’s still a chance you could be.
