New Delta Force Update "Season Break" Launches July 9
New maps, Operator, gameplay feature, and crossover, plus console release coming soon.
Team Jade revealed that Delta Force’s next update, “Season Break,” drops on July 9.
The update for the free-to-play shooter introduces multiple new features and improvements, including two maps — Tide Prison for Operations and Cyclone for Warfare — along with the addition of swimming and diving mechanics, an array of new weapons and vehicles, and a new Operator named Tempest. Also, Delta Force is releasing on consoles on August 19, with the Black Hawk Down single-player campaign launching as free DLC for those who wishlist the game starting June 28.
These aforementioned new maps are designed to expand gameplay variety. Tide Prison is a high-tech island facility that players must infiltrate while disguised, offering a mix of puzzle-solving and stealth in a solo or squad format. Cyclone is a large-scale tropical map featuring a hidden ICBM site and a dynamic weather system that impacts both infantry and vehicle-based combat.
As for Tempest — the new Operator, she brings an aggressive, fast-paced playstyle to the battlefield with her exoskeletal enhancements and short-range weaponry ideal for disrupting enemy formations.
The game is also collaborating with the tactical RPG Arknights, which will introduce new themed Operator Appearances inspired by characters like Executor and Schwarz. Operators Stinger and Luna will receive Arknights-style skins, and Toxik and Hackclaw will follow.
Last but not least, the cooperative mode Victory Unite is getting real-time command tools and respawn support to streamline gameplay.
