Stampede: Racing Royale Prepares For Its Second Playtest
The next test period will last for a full week.
On August 21, Sumo will be kicking off a second playtest for its upcoming 60-player battle royale kart racer Stampede: Racing Royale. The playtest will last a week, ending on August 28, and will implement bug fixes based on player feedback from the first test. Players will have access to the same tracks as they did in the first test, while new cosmetics have been added to allow them a bit more flair.
More content is in the works for Early Access later this year. However, for this test, the goal is to get more of the kinks worked out. Those interested in participating can request access via Steam.
If you’re attending Gamescom, you’ll have a chance to check out the game then. Stampede: Racing Royale will be located in the Level Infinite area of Hall 6. Those who visit will get a chance to play, meet some of the devs, and maybe get some merch.
