Starborne Announces New Fast-Paced "Dead Zone" Game Mode
Starborne, Solid Clouds' space strategy game, is getting an all new -- shorter -- game mode. While it usually takes 10 weeks to play a full match, players can now knock out a tournament in four hours. The new mode will be previewed this weekend with a tournament that not only gives players the chance to see it in action, but also contribute to the game's lore.
In addition to the new mode, Starborne will also be getting four new playable factions: Nightcorps, Les Apaches, Surpasum, and Gatos Fritos. A smaller map is being added, as are a new nebula, station planner, and more. Those hoping to check out the new content will need to be part of Starborne's ongoing beta test. If you haven't signed up and would like to, you can do so on the game's site.
