Survive The Pacific Ocean With Today's EGS Freebie
Another free game is available on the Epic Games Store as part of their holiday sale event. This time, it's an indie offering by Beam Team Games, titled Stranded Deep. This game puts players in the role of a plane crash survivor stranded alone in the Pacific Ocean -- or rather on an island. There, players will need to learn to survive in any way they can. This means hunting and fishing, coming up with clean water, and avoiding sunstroke.
To survive all these things, they'll need to craft tools and weapons, build everything from housing to vehicles, and explore both land and sea. Farming and hunting comes in pretty handy as well.
The game is currently in early access, so keep in mind that it's not complete when you go to grab it. That said, you're getting it for free rather than the $15 early access rate, so maybe that's not that big of a drawback.
