About the game:
Title: Paladins: Champions of the Realm
Status: Released Graphics: 3D
Genre: FPS
Developer: Hi-Rez Studios
Publisher: Hi-Rez Studios

Paladins: Champions of the Realm is Hi-Rez Studios’ take on the arena-battling genre, taking cues from multiple games and applying a unique sheen of medieval mayhem! Paladins has a gameplay style similar to games like Overwatch or Battleborn. Two teams battle to destroy their opponents’ core, clashing on control points to secure a siege engine to batter down enemy gates and lead them to victory.

Each character has its own play style, strengths, and weaknesses, and they can be customized during the match with cards that provide different passive effects. During the match, control points will become active, and the team that fully secures a point gets a siege engine to help it batter down the doors of its enemies’ keep and eventually reach the core and secure victory.

The game is fast-paced and exciting, with most of the action centering around control points and the siege engines. All characters have multiple abilities, as well as mounts they can use to get into and out of trouble quickly. Matches take about 15 minutes, and there’s rarely any downtime, so keep fighting and striving to be a champion of the realm!

Explosive Features:

  • Colorful Cast of Characters
  • Card-based Advancement System
  • Fast-paced Arena Action

  1. Really bad matchmaking, the game itself is okay, but it is not really worth playing, most top players even plays casual, because of how bad the matchmaking is.

Don’t play this game if you like competitve MOBAs

    • I have to agree to a small degree but the matchmaking doesn’t make the game unplayable. I’m pretty bad at the game but I still enjoy playing this game a lot and I still get a Top score once in awhile. For those who are looking for an actively developing game with a competitive setting I would give this a shot.

  2. Guys, overwatch was started in 2014 before Paladins was it just got cut off so maybe Paladins wanted to make angry ow fans a game like it when ow went not thinking it would return…..

  3. All those overwatch fanboys that dont realize overwatch is a ripp off 2 watch team fortress add some things change some things u get overwatch, add some things and change some things from overwatch u get paladins, every (succesful) game ever made can be seen as a rip-off, even after that i love overwatch and paladins the same

  4. Nice game, some champions have a larger lerning curve than others but they are pretty balanced; and the game it’s getting better and better. BTW Overwatch salty fanboys get out of here and stop saying that it’s a rip off OW, it could be SIMILAR to it but it’s not the SAME.

  5. it should have been a fun game, but the servers are shitty high ping is very common, there are hackers and aimbots for fk sake, and the worst is, the devs dont give a shit about it. better play overwatch

  6. The game itself may seem like overwatch in the beginning but the more you dive into the actual game it’s actually really fun and not just a simple chash grab for people who cannot afford overwatch. There’s a lot of similar things about the two titles but also a lot of difference and it focuses on the different ways the game is played on. The game was in closed beta since November 2015 and was announced sometime around 2013

  7. Game looks alot like overwatch from my perspective. But all I gotta say is if you can’t afford to buy overwatch and really wanna play a game similar to overwatch then this game is for you since it’s free 2 play.

    • But if you can afford overwatch then I wouldn’t recommand this game and every character looks like a rip off of the overwatch characters. I got no hate for this game since it’s free 2 play and would recommand this if you can’t afford overwatch but if you can afford overwatch then I recommand you get that instead of paladins champions of the realm.

  8. Its really fun, long time not had so much fun playing moba style alone (not even with friend, that make any sad moba game a little bit more fun^^)

  9. This game is totall crap. The devs care a jackshit about the community. Totally unbalanced and a very bad, bad community. Looking at the chatwindow the average age of the players is 12 years.

  10. This game was in beta before overwatch, and from what I have read, and is not planed to be released for another 2 years I believe. Its in beta and people complain about patches every time, someone always says its unplayable after very patch. Hi-Rez is actively changing the game to craft what the players want, and they are listing to the players. Its a fps with moba elements with simple but beautiful graphics. The champions are customized by a card system letting the player make their own play style.
    I highly recommend.

    • Overwatch was annonced in 2014 (with gameplay video), one year before paladins (july 2015). Paladins first versions of beta was really on early alpha stages, UI changes every patch (look on UI now, nonono, that’s not a rip-off!), mods not balanced. And Hi-rez even named brawl modes without any imagination. High moon? We all Viktors now? I love Smite and Tribes, but this just a silly rip-off with cards. Hi-rez build this game in one year for cash grab, that’s all.

      • global agenda was released before overwatch. back in 2006 or something. Paladins is basically a reskin of that but a little different. Overwatch characters copied so many skills form global agenda.

  11. The recent patches made this game much better than it was 3-4 month ago. Its almost a completely different (and better) game. This game will be great once it will launch.
