With the talk about being on console and limiting the action bar, let's keep in mind FFXIV's layout for the gamepad. With their gamepad action bars it increases the usability. If SOE could develop a program similar the console argument would be mute.

I'm excited for EQ next.Because SOE is trying to do something other then the standard copy and paste mmo.I lke how they are making the game have that feel that the first EQ had.Where when players login for the first time people will want to explore the game world.

Wait wait wait. So there is EQ Next, which is the mmo. But then there is EQ Next Landmark, which is also an mmo but without quests? Is there fighting in Landmark?

Also, if there are only 8 abilities and no mouse combos (left click, left click, hold left click is different then just LMBx3) then I feel the combat will go stale pretty fast.

Another great show F2P Cast.
Question of the week: EQ-Next seems to be one of if not the biggest MMO games coming out in the future, even if it is a ways off. It's very impressive from what has been seen, and has a very high potential to be one of the pillars of the MMO market. Depending on how they present the game, make it action combat, and keep content coming it could possibly be something to behold. I do feel however it might be over shadowed by EQ-Next-Landmark, we all know how big Minecraft is, and from what I've seen and read EQ-Next-Landmark is Minecraft on crack. We won't know until they are both released however.
