First of all, cheers to Jason for understanding that fun decks > end all, beat all decks. I am the same way, I have an MTG deck I like to call my 'fate' deck, it has counterspells, cards to take extra turns and the like, the only damage it has is through redirects. Does it win much? Nope. Is it complex and fun to play, you better believe it.

Now on to CoH, I am an avid roleplayer myself, yet the chatroom thingy is probably not for me. While I do 'social' roleplay (standing around and talking) from time to time, I tend to do more action roleplay, repurposing dungeons and quest areas for story. The only thing I may download it for is to re-create my characters so I can screenshot them, since my computer died shortly before CoH did and I never got the chance.

As for City of Titans, I am hopeful, and I like what I've seen so far. The fact is, no one is going to be able to recreate CoH exactly. I'm glad they're putting a lot into this game and I think however, whenever it comes out, I will try it. I don't think that will be soon, and while I think it will be somethng worthwhile and fun, it will never be CoH.

I think Smedley is right that these hacker groups should be severely punished. Not only are they costing companies millions of dollars, but they prevent players from enjoying their games and force companies to waste resources that could be used for bug fixes and creating new content. Companies should create a fund that could be used for rewards to bring these jerks to justice. I would be willing to put $20 towards the cause.

LOTRO's episodic content: it is varied content that runs every week for a year, and it gives special rewards like pets. It's written by 'Made of Lions', who seems one of the most passionate writers they have there, based on his regular posts in the forums. As for when it starts - it started on the 22nd.
