I would say it is a mix of both and all depends on what content is added . From what I can see large updates matter more than small but when game makers only produce content for advanced levels they do themselves a disservice because they fail to make a ploy for expanding the population of the game. What I would like to see is expansions of not only new races and classes ( Which SWTOR needs new classes added) but new low level content to get new players interested it would also give older players more replay value as in running alts also I like games that give content that expands classes such as giving them class changes Yeah its cool to raise level caps and such and have new environments but nothing is better than having your toon evolving consistently as the game progresses and being able to change from one play style to another. all in all big updates is where it is at small updates are only good to see that the design team and the company still care in the long run
