All average mmos will eventually hit a point where they will go f2p.
Exceptions being only giants like wow and there are only a few of those.

Sound like there some conflict with the Developer and CEO for publishing Battleborn for free.

Will it go to free to play? I'd the odds are high, but their will be a cash shop ugh(shudder). Lets just hope that the cash shop will be fairly well price and not crowed with boosters out the wazoo.
