Before i answer the qotw i have a question my self. From what i understood the ads in PS2 are interrupting the gameplay (have not played it my self). That means it is possible to die from ads popping up on the screen, while going premium eliminates that. Is that game intrusive advertisement a P2W element in your opinion?

QOTW:
Same as Jason i don't mind it as long as it does not interfere with my gameplay. I'm ok with advertising boards on maps, ads in menus and such. Not ok with what PS2 is doing.

Also got some da-bombs this week:
To Jason's house in LOTRO (almost made me wanna start playing LOTRO... almost). And one to him for remembering to take the pics.
Another da-bomb goes to AirMech's Double Kill Tournament. Was way more entertaining then i thought it will be and i don't even play the game anymore. But seeing how much skill, planning, rapidity and precision on his moves an AirMech pro player has, it definitely made me appreciate the game a bit more (it would take me 10 times more to move/command an army then them).

adverts on f2p games don't surprise me at all. they have to pay for the game after all. people's willingness to pay for games these days seems to be dwindling. Steam forums is littered with 'entitlement' discussions. That may not be direct proof, but it seems its becoming more noticeable at least.

personally if a f2p game wants to use ads to pay for its develop and maintenance I don't mind. if its a game I want to play then ill just throw them some money and wont have to deal with it. I currently play DCUO as I wait for Wildstar to launch. I went legendary in that game to see all it has to offer.

15 dollars a month to me is a dirt cheap cost for entertainment. I personally don't understand the prolems with it that a lot of players seem to mention on forums etc.
