Steam Deck MMORPGs

While you may have to play around with the control scheme of some of these MMORPGs on Steam Deck, they're all marked as "Playable" and offer a great in-game experience on the platform. Most of the reasons MMOs aren't included in the "Verified" category are due to small text and inputting text into chat. Other than those issues, these games can still be played on a Steam Deck with little to no messing around with settings or controls.

Final Fantasy XIV

One of the kings of the MMO genre, Final Fantasy XIV offers great storytelling and a fantastical world to explore. You will need to make a few tweaks to get it running at its best, but the video below will help you out making some of those adjustments.

Path of Exile

If you're looking for a little more ARPG in your MMO game on Steam Deck, Path of Exile will install straight from the Steam launcher. Considered by many to be the best MMOARPG on the market today, PoE offers exciting gameplay and endless hours of content to grind.

Fallout 76

Exploring a Fallout world can be a great time for many gamers, and Fallout 76 offers this in a multiplayer setting. The game had a very rough launch, and it took some time to actually flesh out the world, but things are mostly positive these days for Fallout 76, and you can take it with you on the go with the Steam Deck.

Runescape

Despite its age, Runescape remains one of the most popular MMORPGs out there, and it's playable on the Steam Deck. Adventure, craft, and explore you way across the world all while holding it in your hands.

Dungeons & Dragons Online

A classic MMORPG set in a D&D world, Dungeons & Dragons Online brings the classic RPG to your Steam Deck screen. Choose and tweak your character to your liking, creating the perfect avatar to represent yourself in the world.

Neverwinter

Another MMORPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, Neverwinter takes a different approach to combat with a more action-combat style over DDO's tab target system. The cash shop can be a bit pricey in Neverwinter, but you can just ignore it if you wish...well, for the most part.

Albion Online

Created with crossplay on mobile in mind, Albion Online is a great game for handheld devices. There is plenty of gathering and crafting to do in Albion Online, as well as open PvP zones to get your fight on.

New World

Finally, we come to New World, a game that I have spent quite some time in on PC, and also explored on Steam Deck. The small text here is quite the ordeal when trying to get logged in for the first time, but with a little patience, you can be up and running in no time.

There's our list of 8 great MMORPGs you should check out on Steam Deck. Have you tried any of these games on your deck, or have you played other MMOs that run well on the Steam Deck? Let us know in the comments.
