Cozy MMO Palia Launches On The Epic Games Store Today, EU Servers Next Update
Yes, your account carries over.
You were expecting Palia to come to Steam, weren’t you? (I was.)
The free-to-play cozy sim MMO is releasing on the Epic Games Store today, October 24. Palia's release on the Epic Games Store includes all the content released up to this point, including the recent Halloween-themed content update, an obstacle course, and more romance options.
For existing players, the release on the Epic Games Store won't affect their accounts. They can continue using their Palia accounts created through palia.com without any changes to the launcher or login process. Account progress can be carried over to the Epic Games Store version too as it will use the same launcher. While the game will be on the Epic Games Store, in-game purchases will still be accessible through Palia's real money store.
Also, players in the EU can also look forward to dedicated servers (and therefore better latency) going live with the next update. Additionally, in case you weren’t aware, the game is still set to release on Nintendo Switch during this holiday season.
