Blood Bowl 3 Beta

The third phase of the Blood Bowl 3 beta ended on June 12 and received "overwhelmingly positive" feedback from fans that participated. To support the turn-based fantasy sports game's stunning success, French developer Cyanide Studio put together an infographic with a few key stats from the beta alongside the crushing defeats of many players in-game.

Nearly 11,000 players took to the field with their teams and racked up over 35,755 hours of game time through the timed beta. There were around 23,823 touchdowns made, 2,668 completed passes, and 216,933 tackles dodged. Those unlucky at evading tackles might have had one or two of the 224,194 injured players on their team. Ogres, Trolls, and Treemen hurled 575 teammates across the field, and about 4,618 players left the pitch in a coffin.

At launch, Blood Bowl 3 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch later this year. The game will include 12 teams with unique pitches and cheerleaders, solo and multiplayer modes, and more potential customization options that blow past Blood Bowl games out of the water.

Currently, there is no news if there's another beta on the way, but publisher Nacon is having an exclusive press release on July 7 with Blood Bowl 3 as one of the featured games on their Twitter page. They'll be kicking off the showcase at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Twitch and Youtube if you're interested.
