Bigpoint's Game Of Thrones MMO Lives
It's been a while -- and we haven't really heard anything since -- so you may have forgotten that Bigpoint announced several years ago that it was planning on developing an MMO based on George R.R. Martin's popular book series, titled Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms. Or, perhaps you did remember and just figured that nothing was ever going to come from it.
As it turns out, not only did Bigpoint secure the rights to the IP, they're working on the game. The news came via a reply to Twitter user Deebles87, who inquired as to the game's status.
@Deebles_87 The GoT MMO is being worked on \o/ Hopefully you will hear updates on this very soon! Thank you for your patience! (teddy.bear)

Bigpoint also added that they realize the wait has been a long one, but they hope players will enjoy the game -- when it does arrive.
@Deebles_87 We know it's been a long wait but I hope you will enjoy the game. Cheers for your interest and support :-) ! (teddy.bear)
