Bloodhunt Spring Update Patch Notes Brings More Servers, Aim Assist Improvements, Matchmaking Changes, and More
There's a big list of updates and changes to Bloodhunt in the latest patch notes.
First and foremost in the Bloodhunt Spring Update patch notes is server performance. The team has added more physical servers as well as reducing the number of matches happening on each server. Tick rate adjustments have been made to bots not near a player, and the civilians in Prague have been further optimized for better performance. With several other tweaks, the idea is to keep reducing the load on each server to improve performance.
Aim Assist balancing looks to reduce the gap between the controller and mouse and keyboard players. The slowdown when moving the reticle over a target has been reduced, and the rotational movement will require more input. The aim assist for the controller will now require more overall fine-tuning to avoid over or undershooting a target.
Speaking of the controller, there are now new presets for gamepads that can be adjusted in the menu.
Trios game mode will now have its own matchmaker, prioritizing the number of players while waiting no more than 8 minutes to start a match. During lower player times the matches will be backfilled with bots.
A new weapon has been introduced in the form of dual SMGs.
Two new TDM maps have been added; Burning Church and Old Town Square.
You can check out the full patch notes as well as the bug fixes and balance changes over on the official Bloodhunt site.
