Bloodhunt Closure

Sharkmob held off as long as they could, but the time has come. Today, the developer/publisher of the Vampire: The Masquerade battle royale, Bloodhunt, announced the impending closure of he game’s servers. The game has been in maintenance mode for a while, but according to today’s post, the player base has dropped to a point that it’s not worth keeping the severs alive any longer.

The good news is that those who are currently playing don’t have to worry about being cut off tomorrow. The devs are giving everyone six more months of vampire on vampire violence and have set a shutdown date of April 28, 2026. Between now and then, players will have access to the full game, with the exception token purchases which were disabled earlier today.

The store will remain open. Players who have leftover tokens are encouraged to use them before the servers shut down. If you’re wondering about refunds, the announcement states that they “are not available for past purchases" but that there could be some exceptions with recent transactions, depending on the case. These refunds are also subject to laws and the policies of the platform players made the purchase on. Basically, be certain to read through the announcement on the Bloodhunt site to see where you stand if you’re looking to receive a refund.
