It may have taken a moment for it to get there, but Nexon’s F2P anime-style action RPG Blue Archive is finally available on Steam, bringing the magical world of Kivotos to a wider audience. Players take on the role of an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club S.C.H.A.L.E., tasked with resolving incidents that happen around the city. As an advisor, they’ll be dealing with students from the various academies located in Kivotos and building relationships with them.
In addition to the Steam launch, Nexon also announced the game’s next update. “Code: BOX – The Shadow Approaching Millennium” is a special event story in which students sneak into the Millennium EXPO and become embroiled in a conspiracy. The update introduces four new three-star characters as well as a swimsuit version of Hanako.
Two of the new characters, Seia and Neru (School), are Piercing-Type Striker characters. Asuna is an Explosive-Type Striker. And Rio is a Mystic-Type Special.
