Browser Based TCG DragonEvo Beta Is Under Way
Just in case you missed it, we wanted to let you know that the beta for DragonEvo, the browser-based RPG/TCG from Magical Pictures and Zegenie Studios, is under way. Testing is open to everyone, you'll just need to sign up on the game's site. From there, it's just a quick tutorial and you're playing. No downloads needed and the process is painless.
For those who may have visited the site before, now's also a good time to check it out again, as the developer has reworked things in order to showcase the game and how it works in a clearer way. They've also taken some time to address everyone's favorite topic when talking about free-to-play games... Monetization.
The most recent Devblog explains how the system will work. Effectively, players will be able to buy cards for money. However, if they're not down for spending real-world cash, it's okay. All the same cards can be earned in game. Since the cards can be leveled up, both cards earned in game and those bought in the store will start out at the lowest level when first acquired. You can read the full rundown here.
