Cross-Platform MMO Shakes & Fidget Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary
Playa Games is celebrating 10 years of its satire MMO Shakes and Fidget all week long. And they've got a bit more for players than the normal gifts and events. After two years of work, the company is introducing a remastered version of the game -- available on all the same platforms the original is. The remaster is filled with new hand-drawn graphics in high-resolution, an interface rework, and switches everything from Flash to WEbGL and Unity Engine.
Of course, there will be presents too, including the new "Continuous Loop of Idols" dungeon that allows players to compete against famous YouTubers. There's also a Holy Grail hidden deep inside the mine. This Grail will display items to be discovered for the Album of Meticulousness. Players need to be level 85 and already have 1000 items in their album to obtain the Grail.
All other players can get their hands on 10 epic birthday items by completing achievements. As an added bonus, all events will run simultaneously from June 21 to June 23, allowing players more opportunities for XP, items, and more.
