DCUO Celebrates Wonder Woman Day With Free Gifts For All
Legion of Doom Episode coming in December.
Today, DC Comics is celebrating the 80th anniversary of Wonder Woman, as the iconic superhero made her four-color debut in All-Star Comics #6 on October 21, 1941. As part of the celebration, Dimensional Ink Games has its own Amazonian party going on in DC Universe Online, and everyone is welcome to attend and receive a bounty of free loot.
From now until November 17, players can claim the following items:
- Amazonian Warrior Chroma Pack
- Champion of Themyscira's Shield
- Bombshell Wonder Woman's Aegis
- Reforged Wonder Girl Bracers
- Wonder Woman’s 80th Anniversary Poster (Base Poster & Large League hall poster)
- Wonder Woman’s 80th Anniversary Emblem
In addition, DCUO Members will receive the Transparent Wonder Plane accessory. Yes, you can receive invisible loot -- just try and put that on display!
In future content news, Episode 42: Legion of Doom is coming in December, as announced in a blog post from earlier this month. The Legion is led by Lex Luthor and works in service of Perpetua, who has "has returned with the power to destroy or recreate the Multiverse however she desires." Is that bad? That sounds bad.
Farther out, DI plans to celebrate the game's anniversary event in January, with Episode 43 coming in Q2. A PlayStation 5 launch and Episode 44 are planned for later in 2022.
