Decks Up: GWENT's Season 1 And 2 Journey Progression Mode Returns Today
Starring Season 1 Geralt and Season 2's Ciri cards for free.
The return of the first and second seasons of the journey progression mode in GWENT: The Witcher Card Game brings back original cards such as Geralt and Ciri for free. But it's not just rehashed content; players can unlock new rewards like auras, cardbacks, trinkets, music, and trophies.
For those who didn't play GWENT during seasons 1 and 2, CD PROJEKT RED has brought back older items that players can unlock with the newer content. And the fans who previously purchased or played "Journeys 1 & 2 can unlock new items by completing contracts, without needing to make any additional purchases." Not to mention, they'll be able to "pick up right where they left off during their first playthrough."
Unlike when they first launched on GWENT, both seasons will extend beyond their initial three months and become permanent to give players "an infinite amount of time." Character-specific stories will be returning, too. Available from the start and starring the stories of "Geralt & Dandelion" and "Ciri & Vesemir." Additionally, the first two Journeys come with Patch 10.5, balancing general gameplay, and are now available.
