Disney Dreamlight Valley Infographic Confirms Multiplayer For 2023, But We're Still Missing A Lot Of Details
A long-awaited feature for the game gets no mention.
Disney Dreamlight Valley dropped its 2023 content roadmap to give players a heads-up on what to expect this year. There will be new features, improvements, and characters, but fans also got confirmation through an infographic that multiplayer will finally be added sometime in the latter half of 2023.
Since arriving on consoles and PC on September 6th, 2022, Disney Dreamlight Valley has been a single-player experience and, for a long time, no one knew if a co-op or online multiplayer function would really make to the game despite having been previously talked about by the dev team. Thankfully, the roadmap's infographic puts all the speculations to rest, but even knowing the multiplayer plans coming this year, Disney didn't say anything about it in their announcement post.
Instead, the blog pointed at the game's upcoming February 2023 update debuting Encanto characters into Disney Dreamlight Valley and celebrating Disney's 100th anniversary with a new Star Path. Details on the multiplayer component will come later, judging from how secretive plans are at the moment, so maybe once we get into the mid-half of the year, we'll know more.
