Marvel Rivals Zombies

Marvel Rivals is introducing its first-ever PvE mode — “Zombies” — on October 23, inspired by the Marvel Zombies Disney+ series. Developed in collaboration with Marvel Animation, the new mode for the free-to-play shooter lets up to four players battle through endless waves of undead enemies in a city overrun by infection.

Players can take control of heroes like Thor, Blade, Magik, and Jeff, each equipped with unique abilities designed for horde-based combat. Thor can unleash lightning in his Awakened form, Blade wields his bouncing Moon Blades, Magik transforms into her Darkchild state, and Jeff charges through enemies. The mode also features boss fights against Zombie Namor and the Queen of the Dead, offering survival-focused gameplay.

The developers — Marvel Studios’ Brad Winderbaum and Marvel Games’ Danny Koo — describe the event as an exciting crossover that merges the game’s hero shooter mechanics with the darker, horror-filled tone of Marvel Zombies.
