Get Your First Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Gameplay Preview And Game Explanation From Illfonic's Stream Video
They said it was just a "sneak peek" but the stream was over an hour and a LOT of gameplay details were shown off.
Behind the scenes here at MMOBomb, some of us have really been interested in IllFonic's upcoming asymmetric game based on Ghostbusters and we finally have an in-depth look at some gameplay, at least from the "busters" side of things.
In a stream on their channel, Lead Designer Jordan and Community Manager Aron hop into the game (an alpha build) and planned to give us a "sneak peek" at the game but they ended up giving us an entire tour that we think will leave most Ghostbusters fans pretty excited about the game.
Character creation to make the buster of your dreams? Check. Cool ass firehouse as your "base"? Also check. A dynamically changing environment based on how long the ghosts can wreak havoc? Check. A property damage cost mechanic? Check.
Literally, check out the entire video to learn about all of that and more and watch the team catch a few ghosts, talk about the future, and plan more streams to show off things from the ghost's point of view.
Well worth the watch as Spirits Unleashed continues to be a title we're hopeful for upon release.
Check out the full stream below, but skip ahead to the 11:00 mark to skip right to the stream.
