Get Your Own Wisp In A Cage During Final Fantasy’s All Saints’ Wake Event
It’ll make a great focal point in your quarters.
It’s that time of year again. Spoopy things are afoot in Final Fantasy XIV with the return of the All Saints’ Wake event. This year, players can get their hands on a creepy new outfit, a cute emote, and an indoor housing item for taking part.
The event will kick off on October 19, following the 6.25 update patch, and is slated to last until November 1. To take part, players level 15 and higher will need to head to Old Gridania and look for the very serious-looking Adventurers’ Guild Investigator, near the theater.
Complete the quests he offers and walk away with a full Wake Doctor’s outfit, the Eat Pumpkin Cookie Emote, and a Caged Wisp tabletop item for your house, apartment, or FC room. You know you want the cookie.
In less good, but possibly no more surprising, news, Square Enix announced this morning that they will be ceasing service on Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier. The reason given for this decision is that “despite all [their] efforts and regular updates with fresh and exciting content, [they] haven't been able to deliver the experience that [they] were hoping to.” The game will officially be shuttered on January 11, 2023. Prior to that, they will end support for non-English languages on November 1. Sales of Shinra Credits ended today.
