Heatwave Interactive is opening access to Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising with the addition of a free to play model, which gives potential heroes of Rome access to all the quests, estates, battles and mythological creatures.

The Gods & Heroes team has been working over the past few months to secure the future of the game by taking it to a free-to-play model. They have made the decision to eliminate subscription fees and offer G&H players immediate and unlimited access to all areas of the game until the new Free-to-Play model has been finalized and implemented. In addition, trey are dropping the price of the Gods & Heroes game next week to $9.99/£7.99/€9.99.

Question, why are they dropping the price if it’s going F2P?
And btw, if just to be sure, companies that are making games before P2P, F2P are making it Pay to Win too, just to be sure if it isn’t the case of this game.

YES!!!! I knew the email I sent to Gods&Heroes immediately after they announced they launched and that they are pay2play had some importance, I told them they should go free2play, of course that didnt matter probably at all but I feel so good like I`ve accomplished something… 🙂

Thanks to you the game is going f2p. It has nothing to do with the very tiny amount of people paying a monthly fee to keep the game alive.
