Heroes & Generals Adds 30 Leaderboards And Three New Planes
War isn't just about killing the other guy and seizing his territory. It's about killing the other guy and seizing his territory while maintaining a high score.
To that end, Reto-Moto has added leaderboards to Heroes & Generals in today's "Planes & Ladders" update. They aren't just about tracking kills or other "obvious" statistics; the 30 leaderboards are grouped into six categories -- Overall, Tactical, Support, Weapons, Vehicles, and Assault Teams -- and grant players rankings both for individual and team play. Reto-Moto has plans to increase the scope of its leaderboards in the future.
As for actual new stuff in the game, how about some planes? There are three new ones in today's update: the Soviet Medium Fighter Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3, the German Medium Fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109D-1, and the US Medium Fighter Seversky P-35A. You'll need a Grade 5 Dog Fight Ribbon to access each plane, with previous planes unlockable at that tier being moved to Grade 7.
It should also be noted that Reto-Moto made flying a little easier earlier this year, with a new control scheme. So if you tried out planes before and they didn't suit you, check out their blog post or video on the new controls and take to the skies!
