IDC/Games Announces New Cross-Platform Fighting Game HeroVersus
A new cross-platform multiplayer fighting game was announced by IDC/Games today. Titled HeroVersus: The Legend of Ki Masters, the game will be available to mobile and PC players in Europe and Latin America.
HeroVersus is a 2D side-scrolling game featuring online PvP mechanics. At launch, it will be available to players on Android and iOS devices as well as PC players via both a regular PC download and Steam.
The game is still in development, but when it releases it will feature several game modes, including a casual and a practice mode, 11 starting characters, and an ongoing comic series. It is also apparently designed to function as a "social messaging app", but I think we'll just take that to mean it has chat that's designed to work well on mobile devices.
